On November 22, the China International Travel Mart 2024, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, kicked off at National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The theme of this three-day fair is “Nihao! China”. Covering an exhibition area of 53,000 square meters, the exhibition features six areas: Domestic Culture and Tourism Area, Cultural Tourism Technology Area, Cultural and Creative Museum Area, Area for Inbound Tourism Facilitation and Tourism Services, Culture and Tourism Experience Area, and International Culture and Tourism Area.

China Cultural Center in Stockholm organized 6 representatives of Swedish travel agencies to participate in the fair. The fair has attracted more than 1,000 international exhibitors and nearly 600 travel agencies from over 80 countries and regions, and has organized over 600 offline buyer-seller meetings. The fair also held a series of activities, such as “Nihao! China” promotion, China’s inbound tourism policy promotion, business talks, and local cultural and tourism promotion. Swedish travel agents will also visit Fujian province to explore tourism resources and products and conduct market research to create more boutique travel routes to China.
