Stockholm’s landmark Kungsträdgården bustled with life! A panda parade blending art, culture, and warmth kicked off.

Debut

Kungsträdgården, Stockholm

Co-hosted by Network of International Culturalink Entities, China Cultural Center in Stockholm, and Sichuan Provincial Cultural Center, and presented by “GOGOPANDA” and Beijing Saisiboyi Culture Co., Ltd., the themed event “Pandas Are Here! – 2025 Colorful Panda Journey in Sweden” officially launched in Stockholm. This event marks both the Swedish debut of 2025 Colorful Panda Art Global Exhibition Tour and the first international appearance of 2025 GOGOPANDA Art Panda Parade.

Debut

Painted Art Panda Gift

The spotlight of this event was the art panda sculpture Gift, specially created for the tour by GOGOPANDA artist Deng Yihan. This artwork blends cultural elements from China and Sweden — including covered bridges in Chengdu, landmarks in Stockholm, and dragon boats of the Dragon Boat Festival. Inspired by “friendship and blessings from China,” it delivers a cultural gift that transcends borders and warms hearts.

A city’s memory is layered light through changing seasons, and moments where people and nature coexist. The panda, with its gentle presence, moves through Nordic cultures. More than an artwork, it symbolizes a city’s tender gift to the world.

Art Panda Co-Creation

The event specially invited Swedish artist Alexander Svensson to create a unique art panda sculpture on-site! Inspired by the game expansion World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, this work sparked a fascinating collision of gaming culture and Chinese panda culture, and a cross-border dialogue between young Chinese and Swedish artists.

Hello Manman Panda Mailbox

Participants can write down their love and wishes for pandas, drop the notes into the adorable Manman Panda mailbox, and receive an exquisite GOGOPANDA badge!

These heartfelt cards will be preserved in Chengdu, China—the hometown of pandas—after returning from Sweden. They symbolize the exchange of panda culture and carry warm connections that transcend language barriers between people.

Art Panda Commemorative Stamp

Take an “Art Panda Card”, collect exclusive commemorative stamps from the Stockholm panda tour, and join the global journey of pandas! Every stamp marks a cultural journey; every visit creates a wonderful memory.

My Panda, My Creation!

In My Panda creative zone, children picked up brushes to paint their own panda visions. From adorably clumsy to vibrantly colorful, each artwork brimmed with childlike imagination and heartfelt love. Art knows no borders; creativity has no age limit. Under Stockholm’s early summer sun, the moment radiated a touch of Eastern charm. Every hand-painted panda became a special keepsake for children to take home—and a cultural memento from the pandas’ homeland, carrying hues of friendship and dreams.
