On December 8, “Nihao! China” – China Tourism Sharing Session, jointly organized by China Cultural Center in Stockholm and Air China, was successfully held. Over thirty guests, including representatives from travel agencies and photographers who participated in the familiarization trip to China organized by China Cultural Center in Stockholm, Swedish KOLs, Air China Stockholm Office, and local travel trade professionals, gathered at China Cultural Center in Stockholm. Together, they explored opportunities and potential cooperation for expanding inbound tourism to China in the Nordic region. During the session, the unique charm of Guizhou’s mountainous natural landscapes and multi-ethnic culture was also showcased.

China Cultural Center in Stockholm introduced its functions and responsibilities, outlined 2026 tourism promotion plans, and provided an interpretation of China’s latest visa exemption policies to the attending guests, extending a warm welcome to more Nordic tourists to visit China.

Mr. Shi Xinyu, Deputy General Manager of the Guizhou Culture and Performing Arts Industry Group Co., Ltd., delivered a special presentation promoting Guizhou tourism and shared the recent achievements in the integration of culture and tourism. To demonstrate Guizhou’s innovative cultural expressions, the corporation specially arranged captivating performances by Guizhou Acrobatic Troupe.

During the sharing session, two Swedish photographers, Daniel Fredholm and Jacob Schieber, presented a selection of their photographs taken in Guizhou and shared their personal travel experiences. They expressed that Guizhou’s green mountains, sea of clouds, terraced fields, and diverse culture possess a unique appeal, making it highly attractive to Swedish tourists who love the outdoors and nature. They also noted that the safety, convenience, and the warmth and hospitality of the local people left a deep impression on them, and they look forward to visiting Guizhou again in the future.
Air China also introduced its service initiatives and featured products for inbound tourism, emphasizing its commitment to continuously facilitating and supporting tourism exchanges between China and Sweden.

Attendees engaged in in-depth and heated discussions on topics such as designing travel itineraries for China, exploring market cooperation models, and future resource coordination, proposing many constructive ideas and potential collaborations.

The sharing session featured rich content and fostered meaningful exchanges, enhancing the Swedish tourism industry’s understanding of Chinese culture and tourism resources. China Cultural Center in Stockholm will continue to collaborate with Air China and other partners to introduce China’s abundant tourism resources to Nordic visitors.
