New books are now available in the children’s book corner!

Spring sunlight streams through the window frames—it’s the perfect season for reading. The Children’s Book Corner at China Cultural Center in Stockholm has welcomed a group of “new friends”—brand new children’s books are now neatly shelved, waiting to meet you with warmth!

Here you will find—
Fun and engaging Chinese literacy books that let young learners discover the magic of Chinese characters through pictures and games;
Imaginative classic myths and legends that open the door to a whimsical journey through traditional culture;
Warm and touching fairy tales and picture books from beloved authors, accompanying little hearts with love and kindness;
Richly illustrated encyclopedias and popular science books that satisfy children’s curiosity and desire to explore the world around them.

Whether your child is just beginning to learn Chinese or already enjoys reading Chinese stories independently, there is a book here for them. Every turned page is a warm embrace of the Chinese language; every reading session is a joyful step on the journey of growth.

📚 Book Borrowing Tips:
Some of the new books have been entered into the system and can be borrowed with a library card to enjoy at home. Others are not yet in the system and are currently available for in-house reading only. Welcome to China Cultural Centre in Stockholm, where you can quietly enjoy your reading time surrounded by the scent of books. Each library card allows up to two books to be borrowed at a time, for a loan period of one month.
