From February to April 2026, China Cultural Center in Stockholm launched the “Hello! China” Digital Experience Exhibition, featuring a walking VR immersive experience titled “Millennium Adventure at JianmenPass”. Through an approximately 15-minute immersive walking experience, participants felt as if they were transported back to the core section of the ancient Shu Road during the Three Kingdoms period. They can deeply feel the geographical wonders and historical events of Jianmen Pass, witness the legendary loyalty of Jiang Wei, a famed general of the Shu Han kingdom, as he launched nine expeditions against the Central Plains, and guided by creative images such as Zhuge Liang’s “feather fan transforming into a bird,” they explored the secrets of Kongming’s hidden book cave. The event was presented in both Chinese and English, using digital technology to recreate ancient roads and heroic memories spanning a thousand years, allowing audiences in Sweden to intimately experience the spiritual charm of China’s historical landscapes and the unique allure of Three Kingdoms culture.
