To allow more Swedish friends to experience the charm of TCM up close, China Cultural Center in Stockholm will hold an event on April 25, at 2:00 PM at China Cultural Center in Stockholm.
Part 1 “China’s Stories” Lecture
Swedish TCM doctors talk about physical therapy culture
Lecturer: Swedish acupuncturist Martin Eriksson
Instructor Introduction: Martin Eriksson, Master of Acupuncture and Tuina from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, and fifth-generation inheritor of Yang’s Yigong Needling Method, will share an in-depth presentation on the culture of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) physical therapy, combining his systematic clinical rotation experience in China with his practice experience in Sweden. He will break down language barriers and interpret, from a East-meets-West perspective, how TCM integrates ancient wisdom into modern life, especially in its applications for pain management, stress regulation, and elderly care.
Part2 TCM Workshop
On-site Pulse Diagnosis for Health
The workshop activities will feature 4 experts from the Swedish Acupuncture Science Association (ASAS) and the Swedish Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, who will provide on-site pulse diagnosis for the audience, allowing them to experience Chinese medicine culture and receive health consultations. Simultaneously, 7 senior physicians from the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, covering various areas such as acupuncture, Tui Na, and internal medicine, will engage in in-depth exchanges with the audience on topics such as TCM knowledge and healthcare. These experts are not only inheritors of TCM techniques but also bridges for Sino-Swedish medical exchange.
