1. The moon since Qin Dynasty still shines the present world

From the classical era to the pre-Qin period until China’s first unified state, the state of Qin, the kindling of civilization has kept burning on the stretch of land. Wind, water and human activities have transformed the landscapes, presenting beautiful pictures one after another. The hard working and brave Qin people have been working here for generations. The First Emperor of Qin, China’s First Emperor, Qin Shi Huang, laid a solid and stable foundation for the prosperous China at present while inheriting achievements from the Shang and the Zhou dynasties with its influence extremely profound to the Western and Eastern Han dynasties, driving the Huns to the north and recovered the land of Baiyue ( “Hundred Yue,” referring to the aboriginal peoples of South China).

2.Wuwei of far-reaching prestige in the name of the Han Dynasty

When it came to the Han Dynasty, Wewei was the grassland where Wei Qing and Huo Qubing rode horses, the desert where the camel bells of Chinese envoy Zhang Qian’s delegation rang all over, and the Gobi Desert knocked by Su Wu’s cane. Cities including Wuwei, a symbol of “martial arts and military prestige”, Zhangye with the aim of “expanding the territory of Han Dynasty and break the arm of the Huns”, Jiuquan with “springs like wine”, and Dunhuang of “grand splendor”, has had the names for thousands of years since the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, bearing the dream of the Chinese nation to prosper.

3.Wine of Grapes reflecting the prosperity during the Tang Dynasty

During the Tang Dynasty, Gansu once covered the wide area to the west of Longshan Mountain, with 18 states as well as Western Regions Frontier Command and Northern Tingzhou Frontier Command under its jurisdiction. She has witnessed the close friendship between the Tang Dynasty and diverse states in the Western Regions. In the eyes of the people in the Central Plains, she has been remote, mysterious and beautiful. In the eyes of the soldiers in the frontier fortress, she has been both severe and gentle, full of exotic flavor and mixed with a ray of homesick sorrow. As the eventful and miserable years have gone, Gansu has ushered in a poetic and romantic era, and also reignited the prosperity of the golden times.
