1613年5月19日，明代著名地理学家、旅行家和文学家徐霞客，写下了《徐霞客游记》的开篇之作《游天台山日记》。2011年，“5.19”这一天被确立为“中国旅游日”，以纪念徐霞客。
On May 19, 1613, Xu Xiake, an eminent geographer, traveler and litterateur in Ming Dynasty, wrote the first travel note of A Trip to Tiantai Mountain in his Travel Diaries. In 2011, this day was established as China Tourism Day “to commemorate and cherish the memory of Xu Xiake”.
