Open Call: 2025 Maritime Silk Road Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition

The 2025 Maritime Silk Road International Cultural Tourism Festival will be held in December this year in Quanzhou, Fujian Province. This event is jointly organized by Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China and People’s Government of Fujian Province, organized by China International Exhibition Agency. As a key component of the festival, the “Maritime Silk Road Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition” now officially invites artisans and artists specializing in intangible cultural heritage from countries along the Maritime Silk Road to participate.

This exhibition aims to showcase the unique charm of intangible cultural heritage skills from various countries through a combination of static displays and live demonstrations. We look forward to your participation in highlighting the preservation and vitality of intangible cultural heritage.

• The round-trip international airfare as well as expenses for food, accommodation, and transportation during the stay in Quanzhou will be borne by the organizer.
• A dedicated booth (floor area: 3600×4300mm) will be provided for each project.
• Two tables (1200×600mm each) will be supplied.
• Customized booth backdrop (3600×2400mm) will be produced based on materials provided.
• Sales of the crafts are allowed, and all proceeds will go to the individual artists.
• After the exhibition, participating artists are invited to donate one of their works to the Quanzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum for permanent collection and as a witness of exchange. The museum will issue a collection certificate.
